Remodeling the Kitchen: A Fresh Start for Pequeños Gigantes

One of the most exciting projects we’ve completed at Pequeños Gigantes Orphanage was remodeling their kitchen and creating a brand-new multipurpose room.

Previously, the kitchen was cramped and outdated, making it difficult to prepare meals for all the children. We decided to move it to a different room, opening up space for a multi-use area where the kids can do homework, play games, and even write on a new chalkboard wall!

For this transformation, we:

✔ Moved and reinstalled industrial sinks and cabinets from previous donations.

✔ Installed a new water pump to ensure running water in the kitchen.

✔ Set up propane lines for a brand-new stove.

✔ Built a new dining table so the kids could share meals together.

✔ Purchased and installed a new fridge and stove to complete the space.

Now, the kids have a bright, functional space where they can eat, learn, and enjoy time together—a kitchen that truly feels like home.
