The Blessing
Children's Home

At The Blessing Children’s Home, we believe every child deserves a loving, nurturing place to call home.

A true home is more than walls and furniture. It is the people who bring it to life—the photographs on the walls, laughter around the kitchen table, favorite meals being prepared, birthdays celebrated, bedtime routines, and the comfort of knowing someone will be there tomorrow.

For many of us, these experiences are ordinary. For vulnerable children who have experienced abandonment, neglect, abuse, or other difficult circumstances, they can be life-changing.

Our Vision

Children heal and thrive when they are safe, loved, known, and surrounded by healthy relationships.

Our vision is to create a Christ-centered care community, where vulnerable children can experience safety, stability, healthy relationships, individualized care, and the love of Jesus.

We don't simply want to provide children with a place to live.

We want to give them a safe home where they can trust, grow, heal, and maximize their God given talents and abilities.

A different approach to orphan care

Our approach combines years of residential care experience, foster-care best practices, and trauma-informed care. Rather than an institutional setting,

The Blessing is intentionally designed around small, family-style environments where children are safe, known, and loved.

Building Futures at the Blessing Children's Home

We are building a new model in orphan care designed to give children the safety, stability, and family environment they need to thrive.

Our Building Futures initiative outlines our vision for The Blessing Children’s Home, featuring six family-style houses, intergenerational support with local widows, and a transition plan for young adults.

Build a brighter tomorrow

Building The Blessing will take a community of people who believe vulnerable children are worth investing in, and that Jesus changes lives.

Together, we can build a brighter future for vulnerable children.
