Meeting Emergency Needs: A Fridge for La Morada Orphanage

One evening, while serving dinner at La Morada Orphanage, we discovered that their refrigerator had completely broken down and was beyond repair. This meant they were at risk of losing all their perishable food, and they had no idea how they would afford a new fridge.

The very next day, thanks to the generosity of our donors, we were able to purchase, deliver, and install a brand-new refrigerator. The relief on their faces said it all—they wouldn’t have to throw away their food or worry about how to keep future meals fresh.

This is why we do what we do. Emergencies happen, but when we come together as a community, we can respond immediately and make a tangible difference.
