Hands and Hearts at Work: Preparing for Joyful Play

In preparation for welcoming children soon at The Blessing Children’s Home, we wanted to ensure that our outdoor areas were both safe and inviting—a place where kids can freely run, play, and create joyful memories. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of Destiny Fearless, we were able to install fencing and build retaining walls separating our basketball court, soccer field, and future playground area. With these updates, our outdoor spaces are now safer and ready to welcome kids with a fun place to explore and play!

The team poured their energy into every task, from mixing cement and hauling gravel to carefully assembling each section of the retaining wall. Beyond the physical labor, they took time to pray over the space and write scriptures on each brick they placed. These words serve as a powerful reminder that Jesus is the solid foundation on which everything at S.O.W. is built. Each stone was laid with the future children who will play there in mind, praying blessings, healing, and a transformative relationship with Jesus over each one of them. We are deeply grateful for teams like this one who come alongside us to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
