About SOW Ministries:
The Christian population in India according to census 2001 was 24 million or 2.3 percent of India's total population of above 10,28.6 million. Andhra Pradesh is one of the states accounting for 4.9 percent of the total Christian population in India.

The percentage of Christians in India has remained the same during the last decade (1991 to 2001) at 2.3 percent. The total number of Christians goes on increasing, but the above census figures indicate that the proportion of Christian population to the total population was decreasing. Especially in Andhra Pradesh there are many villages that are still under darkness where the gospel has never reached and where there is not even a single Christian that we can find. Moreover some antichristian mobs rose and are forcibly converting converted Christians to Hindus.
So every one should have the opportunity to know who Jesus Christ is and who God is. So far God raised many individuals, groups, missions and organizations, which carry on the challenging task of proclaiming the Gospel to the unreached. Of such Saviour Of World Ministries is one of them.
The
abbreviated form of 'Saviour Of World' is "SOW". The Saviour is none but
Jesus Christ. "SOW" in its own simple form suggests the act of
sowing.

'In Every conceivable area'.

'Day in and Day out'.
- 'Sowing' For What and Whom?
'An ordinance as given in Matt
28:19,20'.
As to Paul the Apostle in Rom 10:14, in his own words,
- " How then shall they call on Him, in whom they have not believed? "
- " And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard??"
- " And how shall they hear without a preacher (sower )??? "
- " And how shall they preach( sow ) unless they are sent???? "
That's what this 'SOW' is doing. Deputing / sending
'Sower' with the 'Seed' ( Gospel of Salvation ).
